These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of sungroupadvisors.com (the "Site") and the services offered through it by Sun Group Advisors ("SGA," "we," "us," or "our"), a solar advisory service operated by Market Group Partners. By using the Site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
SGA is an advisory and referral service. We help homeowners understand whether solar could lower their electric bill and connect them with a licensed solar installation partner who can prepare a proposal and conduct an in-home consultation.
SGA is not a solar installer, contractor, lender, or utility. We do not design, sell, finance, install, maintain, or warrant solar systems. Any proposal, contract, financing arrangement, warranty, or installation is between you and the installation partner (or its financing provider), not SGA. We are compensated by our installation partner when a homeowner we refer proceeds with an installation.
Any figures on the Site, including utility rate comparisons and example bills, are for illustration. Electricity rates vary by utility, rate plan, usage, time of day, and home. Whether solar lowers your bill, and by how much, depends on your roof, your usage, the system proposed, the financing you choose, and future utility rates that no one can predict. We do not guarantee any savings, rate, system size, production, incentive, tax credit, or approval. Your installation partner's written proposal, not this Site, is the only source of figures specific to your home.
The Site is intended for adults 18 or older in the United States who are homeowners or authorized to make decisions about a property. By submitting a request you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.
When you submit a request, you ask us and our installation partner to contact you about it. Consent to receive calls and text messages, including by automated technology, is given separately through the checkbox on our form and is governed by our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text or by calling (619) 304-3612.
Submitting a request does not create a contract for goods or services and does not obligate you to purchase anything. It does not obligate SGA or our partner to provide a proposal; service availability depends on your location, roof, utility, and other factors.
You agree not to submit false or misleading information, submit requests on behalf of someone who has not authorized it, use automated tools to submit forms, interfere with the Site's operation, or copy, scrape, or reuse Site content without permission.
The Site, including its text, design, logos, and images, is owned by Market Group Partners or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. "Sun Group Advisors" and the SGA logo are our marks. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services, including our installation partner, utilities, and government incentive programs. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, offers, actions, or policies.
The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that information on it is complete or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGA and Market Group Partners, and their owners, employees, and agents, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any lost savings, lost profits, or property damage, arising from your use of the Site, your request, or any product or service provided by an installation partner or other third party. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site or our services will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SGA and Market Group Partners from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your submission of false information.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at the address below and give us thirty (30) days to try to resolve it informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and SGA regarding the Site.
